Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge #43
Today I participated in the Off the Wall Craftiness Blog Challenge Number #43 featuring the colors black and white or cream.
I was hesitant about the colors as I usually like to use a lot of different hues on my projects, but I had a bunch of fun making this card. I even used the Yudu Cardshop to make the main image and am really pleased with the result.

Velvet Ribbon
K&Company Sticker (Simply Divine)
Stampin' Up! Punches: Bird, Heart

Papertrey Ink January 2011 Blog Hop
I have LOVED Papertrey Ink products since they began as a company. The first thing I ever bought from them was some cute ladybug notecards for my Mother-in-law (who is ladybug crazy) and then lo and behold...they made a stamp set to match! I was so excited to get it and have been hooked ever since.
The challenge this month was to use a set that has never been opened or has been gathering dust. Well, as I just moved this summer - I have a lot of dusty stamp sets! I chose to use the Vintage Picnic set. It is so cute and very versatile. I wanted to make a card that would celebrate Valentine's Day, but was not so specific that I couldn't use it at other times too. I am really happy with the way it turned out. Hope it makes you smile!

Cricut Imagine Sweet Thank You Card
I made this card using the Cricut Imagine More cartridge that came with the machine. I cut out the Sweet Tag using the layer function and then inked and distressed and embossed some of the edges. The tag was cut at 4" using relative sizing. The striped border was made by cutting two of the different borders on the cartridge using the layer function and then piecing them together after inking and distressing. I had to look at the screen to make sure that I had them large enough to cover the 4.25" width of the card. After gluing them down, I trimmed them to be flush with the edge of the card. I also stuck in a ribbon strip and ran the bottom layer through my Big Shot with a Tim Holtz (LOVE his stuff) embossing folder.
Supplies:
Cricut Imagine Imagine More cartridge
Stampin' Up! Kraft cardstock, mini clip, ink, background stamp
Tim Holtz distress ink, Sizzix embossing folder
Quickutz strawberry and leaf cuts
Paper Studio flower
Papertrey ink stamps, red twill, button and bakery twine
Paper Studio lace trim
